"But thanks be to God, who
giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ."
1 Corinthians 15:57(NIV)
Jesus is
the Prince of Peace. Only He can give us that
perfect peace
that we all strive for; as long as we set our
hearts and our minds on
Him and His perfect love.
To receive Jesus into your life you need to
believe deep within your
heart that Jesus died on the cross and rose
triumphantly from the
grave to redeem you for your sins. With heartfelt
belief, trust and
complete reliance on Jesus Christ, as Savior and
Lord, (John 3:16-18),
ask God to forgive you for sinning.
Below is a sample prayer that you can pray, and I pray that the
peace of the Lord fills
you abundantly. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
-
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, have
mercy on me, a sinner. I am truly sorry
for my sins. I want to start over. Forgive me for
all the things that
I have done that have offended you. Come into my
heart and make
me Your child.
Lord, I ask that You take
away all my sinful desires and create in me
a new heart. I forgive anyone who has wronged me.
I thank You for
forgiving me and cleansing me with Your precious
blood, The blood
You shed on the cross for me. In this first step
of faith, I believe You
have died for my my sins and I confess you as
Lord over my life right
now. I thank You for hearing my prayer and I
thank You for the
opportunity to start over and live my life
according to Your will and
not my own.
Lord, I ask You to baptize
me with Your Holy Spirit. Fill me with the
love, the power, and the boldness that comes from
the Holy Spirit,
so that I may accomplish Your will; Your eternal
purpose for me.
Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to dwell within me,
to guide me, to anoint
me, and to comfort me in my time of need.
In the mighty name of Jesus I pray!
Now you can say, I am
saved! Remember, God is in control. As
an act of faith you should join
a Christian Church & be baptised
in water. Fellowship with other Christians is
important. And each
and every day is a new beginning, begin your days
in prayer...
Here is an example...
Lord, today, I give up to You
my body, my mind, my soul and my
spirit. I ask You to cleanse me with Your
precious blood which I
also claim as protection against the evil one.
Lord direct my steps,
actions and words and let all I do, glorify you in
every way. In Jesus
Name I pray Amen and Amen
In everything you do, seek
guidance from the Holy Spirit and read
the word. Always quote scripture when praying,
and when reading
the bible. Like for instance:
Lord, I ask for the enlightenment of Your Holy
Spirit so that I may
understand the message I am about to receive
through Your word.
For Your Word says in: Proverbs 1:23 "...behold,
I will pour out my
spirit unto you , I will make known my words unto
you."
There are three steps of
knowing the Word of God...
- BY reading the Word of God
- By believing the Word of
God
- By using the Word of God
Once you
begin reading the Word, believing the Word, using
the Word you will start to KNOW the Word.
And once the the Word of God gets into your mind,
it sinks into
your heart.
Proverbs 23:7 "As a
man thinkith in his heart, so is he"
So it goes like this.....
The word fills your memory, goes into your heart
for meditation,
and then it comes out of your mouth. Once the
Word gets in your
mouth it becomes sharper than any two-edged sharp
sword against
the enemy.
And that's how we win the battle we are fighting.
With the WORD.
We say the WORD and God takes care of the rest.
The bible clearly tells us
in :
Ephesians 6:12
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but
against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against the spiritual
wickedness in high
places."
You see, there is a battle
going on - it's a battle for our souls.
The devil is out there creating divisions in
families, churches, schools,
friendships... etc. He wants us to remain with
hate, unforgiveness,
and chaos in our lives. Why? So that we can be so
caught up with
the junk that's going on in our lives that we are
no longer focused on
our daily walk with God, but we are focused on
all the "problems" in
our lives. And what happens when we are focused
on junk? We live
junk. And when we live junk, we speak junk. Satan
wants us to speak
junk, because that prevents the Word of God from
being spoken.
When there are spiritual attacks attempting to
bring us down...
Because we are flesh, we act in the flesh. But
only through Jesus
are we able to combat the attacks with the
spiritual tools he has
given us. And if we know how to win these
everyday battles while
living here on earth, don'cha think life will be
a little easier???
We must make sure that we
put on the Armor of God every day to
keep us strong, focused and protected. Read Ephesians
6:10-18
