Paid for our sins through his death on the cross

But how do we go through Jesus to get to the Father?

YOU ASK??






Acknowledge that you have sinned
and ask God for forgiveness...

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." ~Romans 3:23-24 (NIV)

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and his Word has no place in our lives
~1 John 1:8

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us
from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9







Ask God to remove all your sinful desires
and to create in you,
a new heart...

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your
impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;
I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. ~Ezekiel 36:25-26

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! ~2 Corinthians 5:17 







Believe in Your heart that Jesus Christ died
for your sins, and rose triumphantly
from the grave.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved. ~Romans 10:9







Ask Jesus to come into your heart and to guide your life through His Holy Spirit.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him"
~Revelation 3:20

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,
even to those who believe in His name" ~John 1:12

But when He the spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.
~John 16:13

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
~Galatians 5:16
 






Confess with your mouth that
Jesus is Lord

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
~Romans 10:9

Dear God,
I come to you a sinner. The Bible says everyone has

sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I do believe that Jesus is the Son of God and I believe

that He died as a sacrifice for my sins.  I receive Him

right now as my Lord and Saviour.  I ask You to forgive me for

my sins and change me into the person you want me to be.

I give my life to You Lord, for now and for eternity. 

In Jesus' Name, I pray.  Amen.
